Dance and gravity colliding

Gravity is the force which unites us all – and binds us to the planet. In popular perception it is seen as the strongest force there is. Ιn fact it is the weakest and the one which particle physics knows least about. One of the world’s leading experts on antimatter describes his new experiment adding to our knowledge of gravity. In this discussion, CERN scientist Michael Doser will debate with the international choreographer Gilles Jobin, whom he has advised on the new dance piece Quantum inspired by Gilles’s residency at CERN, the role gravity plays in science and dance.  What the two may learn from each other, and how will it change our understanding of the dynamics of movement? Might there be a day when physicists study dancers to truly understanding gravity and movement?
